Housekeeping

The Housekeeping Aide keeps the facility and resident rooms’ clean, odor free, and in good order. They provide a clean, appealing, safe, and sanitary environment for the facilities residents, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeping Supervisor directs, controls, plans, and modifies the Housekeeping Department to ensure a clean and safe environment for the facility.

Education & Experience:
The Housekeeping Assistant position does not require any specific education. A supervisor must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of housekeeping experience and be willing to receive education on leadership and supervision.

The Director manages all aspects of the dietary department. The Dietary Manager supervises, instructs, and evaluates employees engaged in preparing and serving meals, while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Education & Experience:
The Director of Food & Nutritional Services must be a certified dietary manager; or a certified food service manager; or has similar national certification for food service management and safety from a national certifying body; or has an associate’s or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, if the course includes food service or restaurant management, from an accredited institution of higher learning; and (ii) In States that have established standards for food service managers or dietary managers, meets State requirements for food service managers or dietary manager, and (iii) Receives frequently scheduled consultations from a qualified dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional.
